San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival Auditions -  January 17 2009

Although Indigenous was not selected to perform for the 2009 San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, the Troupe was honored to audition for World Arts West, Sponsor of the Festival.  This prestigious Festival, now in its 31st year, will feature over 30 exciting ethnic dance soloists and troupes and be held over four weekends in June of 2009 at The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre on Bay and Lyon Street in San Francisco.   The Auditions were performed in front an esteemed panel of dance directors and teachers and the Troupe was proud to perform its Medley of 5 Belly Dances in the American Style for a very appreciative paying audience.  Thank you to all who came to support Indigenous!
